It’s come to that time of semester where suddenly it feels like I have a million things due, after having had weeks of nothing. Surely someone can organise things so it’s a bit more spread out? I can’t be the only person this happens to.
I’ll count myself lucky though, as for the first time, I don’t have exams. Instead, I have two extended responses, 4 online online quizzes, and an essay due all in the next couple of weeks, and I’m only studying two subjects this semester!
I’m very much outside my comfort zone here, as I finished an engineering degree last year, and am now studying history and philosophy. The style of assessments is definitely putting my writing skills to the test. It’s nice though sometimes to challenge yourself by trying something completely new.
So it’s been a little bit of a boring week for me; curled up in bed sick trying to finish an extended response and procrastinating by watching Taylor Swift’s Blank Space on repeat. Apparently I’ve got to keep up with the world of male modelling a bit more, Sean O’Pry, I’ve been missing out! The weather is meant to be nice tomorrow though, so maybe I’ll go study on a beach somewhere… Ah the benefits of studying online.
Hahahaaha good luck with all your writing assignments and stuff!
With love,
Vera
